Cotton’s commercial usage is around 64% for apparels in the textile industry, 28% for home furnishing and 8% for industrial use especially for pharmaceutical products, In food industry cotton seed oil is a raw material used as a refine oil in different food products.

China is the leading producer of cotton followed by USA, India, and Pakistan. Pakistan’s cotton produce is domestically utilized for the textile industry, the condition is the same in India and China as well.
